
Anne Luella (Bowen) Ricciardi, 83, of Endicott, NY, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 after an extended illness. She was born February 27, 1926 in Edmeston, NY, the daughter of Kenneth and Elizabeth (Keeler) Bowen, and grew up in New Berlin and Roseboom, NY. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Shirley Melisko of Horseheads, NY. She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Steve Ricciardi; two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Deborah Ricciardi, and Lawrence Ricciardi; the love of her life, granddaughter Victoria Ricciardi; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy Troy of Wilmington, DE, Clara and Richard Blankenberg of Macedon, NY and Edward Melisko of Horseheads, NY and several nieces and nephews. She enjoyed playing piano and accordion and was an avid NY Yankees fan. In her earlier years she taught dance at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. She was actively involved with St. Paul's Methodist Church and also became a member of Central United Methodist Church in Endicott. She and her husband spent a lot of time with their boys involved with the Grenadiers Jr. Drum and Bugle Corps. She was a kind and giving woman who loved deeply and was deeply loved by those around her.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 1 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Douglas Clark, Pastor of her church officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Thursday from 2-4 and evening 7-9 pm.
