Donald E. Brunnabend, 71, of Vestal died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was pre deceased by his parents Werner and Anna. He is survived by his lady, soul mate, and wife of 51 years Carol; his children and their spouses Michael (Karen) Brunnabend; David (Pati) Brunnabend; Debra (Tim) Doolittle; Karen DeAngelo; and Matthew (Shawn) Brunnabend. twelve grandchildren David, Nathan, Benjamin, Kristen Brunnabend; Michaela Brunnabend; Alexis Budine; Ayden Doolittle; Marcus; Geno; Rocco; Gianne DeAngelo; and Chandler Brunnabend; great grandson Joshua; a sister Ann Louise Scanzelli, two brothers Thomas and Robert Brunnabend; his aunt Lucille Weber; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Donald was an avid gardener. The family would like to say a special thank you all the doctors and nurses at Broome Oncology and Radiation especially Dr. Sheth, Lourdes Hospice and his special care giver Linda.
The Family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Thursday from 4-6 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Lourdes Hospice Program 4102 Old Vestal Road Vestal, NY 13850.
