Biography
David Patrick Crowley, 36, beloved son of Patrick and Joyce Crowley, died suddenly on January 16, 2012. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Josephine Crowley and his maternal grandfather, Robert M. Kropp. He is survived by his loving parents, Patrick and Joyce Crowley, maternal grandmother Joyce M. Kropp, and his soulmate, Carrie Norton. Also, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. David was a graduate of Union-Endicott High School, Binghamton University, and New York Law School. After living approximately ten years in New York City, David moved back to Endicott three and a half years ago. He was practicing Family Law, was a Law Guardian for children, and was building a successful law practice. He recently became a board member of the Broome County Youth Bureau. David was a character! He had a great sense of humor. He loved cooking, skiing, and, along with his Dad, was a Formula One racing fan. He enjoyed music, movies, travelling through the Finger Lakes Region and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. He recently purchased a home and he and his Dad were busy renovating. He was so happy and excited to have his own home. David will be in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. He was gentle and kind. He worked hard and accomplished much in his short life. Anyone would be proud to call him their son.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ambrose Church, Endicott at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Thursday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the S.O.S. Shelter, P.O. Box 393, Endicott, NY 13761, or the American Heart Association, 59 Court Street, Binghamton, NY 13901.
