David P. Crowley

One of the best memories of my cousin David is also one of the first I have of him. I still recall it strongly 20 years later. I was a four-year-old, girly girl that absolutely loved to play with Barbies. On one visit to my Aunt and Uncles house in Endicott, I asked my teenage cousin David to play Barbies with me while two of his teenage friends were at the house. Instead of deferring or playing cool in front of his friends, he took the time out of his day to bring joy to a four-year-old by playing Barbies with her. His friends teased him lovingly, but David didn't care. He was happy to make a little girl happy. In his work with children, I know he must have made them just as happy as he did me. I will always remember that play time and hold the memory close to my hear, just as I have all of these years. I love you, David. Rest in peace and prepare a place for us. Please make sure there are Barbies in heaven. Love, Rachel

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today, David. Dave taught this fellow attorney all about the iphone and persuaded me to invest in one. After that, we often spent our time while waiting in family court showing off our newest apps and rating the best programs. Rest in peace Dave. You will be missed.

Our hearts break for David's family and friends. He was a part of our time in Endicott and will live on in our memories of UE.
