William Mclaughlin

William P. McLaughlin, 93 , of Rockway Beach, NY, passed away peacefullyTuesday, January 19, 2016. He was predeceased by his two wives, Virginia McLaughlin and Louise McLaughlin; a brother Jim McLaughlin. He is survived by his daughter and son in law Virginia Watts-Smith and Ralph Smith, Endicott; son and daughter in law William and Laurena McLaughlin, Millsboro, DE; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren,one great-great granddaughter; thirteen nieces and nephews;three special cousins; and many friends especially his friends at the Endwell Senior Center. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Endicott. He was a retired Captain with the FDNY, a veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Army, was a member of the American Legion and former Commander of the New York State American Legion.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 am from St. Joseph’s Church, Endicott. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial HomeThursday from 4-7 pm.
