Adalene (Pisani) Battaglini, 88, of Endicott was reunited with her husband, David A. Battaglini on Thursday April 4, 2013. She was also predeceased by her parents, Dominic and Rose (Gimmie) Pisani; brothers, Joseph Pisani and Orlando (Kelly) Pisani; sisters, Gloria Pisani and Dorothy Battaglini. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Deanna Battaglini, Egg Harbor Township, NJ; two granddaughters, Victoria and Alexandria Battaglini, Egg Harbor Township, NJ; two sisters, Edith Pisani, San Mateo, CA and Dolores Matisi, San Mateo, CA; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Calvin Briggs, Endicott; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Adalene was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott. She was involved in the family business, The Endwell Tavern. Adalene would do anything for anyone who needed her, often baking her special cookies or sponge cake. Adalene had a sunny disposition and it was reflected in the bright colors she wore. She loved to spend time with family and friends, especially her two beautiful granddaughters. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 am. from St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. At Adalene’s request there will be no calling hours.
