Alice May Loudon

Alice died at Elizabeth Church Manor on October 30, 2014, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 58 years, Leighton Loudon, her parents, Louis and Alice Hellrich, and her brother, Arthur. She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Harry) Frederick of Endwell, and her sons Richard (Karen) Loudon of New Hampshire and Craig (Kim) Loudon of California. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Jeffrey (Kim) Loudon, Jason (Amber) Loudon, Sarah Loudon, Kristen Loudon and Christopher Loudon, as well as two step-grandchildren, Christopher Frederick and Michael Tudor. She recently was blessed by the arrival of two great-grandchildren, Leighton Loudon and Sawyer Loudon. Also surviving are her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Margaret Loudon and three nieces, Karen (Bill) Ebersbach, Joan VanVestrout (Victor) and Lisa Hellrich. The family would like to thank Gloria Block, FNP, Amy Anderson and Dr. Jonathan Harris of Endwell Family Physicians for their faithful, loving care of Alice, especially during this past year. Alice was a blessing to all who knew her, and she felt richly blessed having the loving family and special friends who were such an important part of her life. Interment will take place at Vestal Hills Cemetery on Monday, November 3, at 9:00am; a celebration of Alice’s life will take place at 11:00am on the 3rd at First Presbyterian Church, 29 Grant Avenue, Endicott; the Reverend Janice and Timothy Devine will officiate. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00am in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Alice’s memory may be made to: First Presbyterian Church, 29 Grant Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760 or to the American Red Cross.
