It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Alice (Natale) Norkaitis, 60, of Endwell, NY who peacefully passed away on May 26, 2023, as a result of a tragic accident. She is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Aj Norkaitis who was the love of her life. Alice was born in Scranton, PA on January 27, 1963, to her beloved parents Frank and Alice (Fitzpatrick) Natale whom she is survived by. While we feel such deep sorrow, there is a comfort knowing that she was welcomed home and is now reunited with her brother, Frank Natale Jr., who preceaded her in death on May 5, 2020. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Alice’s greatest job was raising her five adored children whom she was very proud of, Jessica (Marty Mirtallo), Carly, Aj (Sabrina), Justin (Camille) and Corey. She treasured her children and the loves of her life, her grandchildren: Dominick, Natalie, Lillyanna, Aj, Polly and Stella. Alice will also be dearly missed by her siblings: Ann Marie (Ed), Anthony, Tom (Nicole), and sister-in-law, Arlene; mother and father-in-law George and Gloria Norkaitis, sisters and brothers-in-law, George (Karen), Chrissy (Joey), Shelly (Carl), Erika (Lauren). Alice will be forever remembered by her aunts, many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends, especially, her best friend and cousin, Marty Guzzi, all of whom she loved and touched deeply. Alice treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She was so proud of each and every one of them. Alice especially loved her role as, “Grammy,” to her grandchildren who she thought were perfect in every way. Alice had a special place in her heart for pets and for much of her adult life fostered dogs who would otherwise spend their days in a shelter. Alice always enjoyed spending time with and getting kisses from her granddogs: Norman, Boomer, Sooner and Charlie. Alice had the most generous, humble and selfless heart and would drop anything to help someone in need. Alice was a devoted Catholic and lived a life of faith and servitude to Christ. Alice consistently prayed for the wellbeing of her family, especially her parents and children who she adored. The family would like to acknowledge and thank all of the staff at UHS Wilson Medical Center for their care of Alice and the support they provided to the family during such a difficult time.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 1, at 10 am at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
