Alice Rostedt

Alice (Lamas) Rostedt, 73, of Endwell, passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Monday, January 18, 2016. She was predeceased by her parents Jose and Martha Lamas. She is survived by her husband Robert, two sons Robert D. (Leslie), Willington, NC and Steven (Denise), Endwell; two granddaughters Sara and Bryana; her sister Martha Lamas, Brooklyn; also several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Endwell and a retired IBM Corp employee. Alice was born in Green Bank, NJ and grew up in Brooklyn. While working for Bell Telephone Laboratories in Manhattan she met her husband Robert. Soon after they moved to Rochester, NY before settling in Endwell. Some of her enjoyments in life were traveling, cruising and Riverboats, going to Curves, Zumba and Tai Chi.

Funeral Services will be held Friday 1 pm from Our Savior Lutheran Church, Endwell. The family will receive friends at church Friday from 11 am until service time at 1 pm. Burial will be in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 731 Hooper Road, Endwell, NY 13760.
