Alice Saxe

Alice S. Saxe, 85, passed away Monday May 16, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Binghamton. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel E. Saxe; a grandson Daniel J. Saxe and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by sons and daughters in law Gerald and Maureen Saxe, Endwell; Ronald and Denise Saxe, Endicott;; a daughter and son in law Sandra Saxe and Joseph of Virginia and a son Robert Saxe, Brackney, PA; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a sister Stella Hoffa, Oriskany. NY as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Alice worked in the cafeteria at Choconut Elementary School for many years. She was a member of St. Augustine Church, Silver Lake, PA and volunteered at many of the church activities. She also did volunteer work at the Silver Lake Volunteer Fireman’s Field Days.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 am at St. Augustine Church. Silver Lake, PA. Burial in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Friday evening from 5-8 pm. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the American Heart/Stroke Association or the American Cancer Society.
