Alphonse “Al” Ricapito

Alphonse “Al” Ricapito died at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY on Father’s Day, June 21, 2015 after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Carmen and Genevieve Ricapito of Philadelphia, PA. Al retired from IBM in Endicott, NY and is survived by his son, Jeffrey and daughter in-law Elizabeth along with three grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew and Lauren all of Avon, CT as well as his aunt Dolly Pirolli of Philadelphia, PA, brother Ralph Ricapito of Sarasota, FL, and sister Anita Conte of Newark, DE as well as numerous family members and an incredible number of friends who supported him with love and affection especially over the last year of his life.
The Family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street Saturday from 1-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in memory of Al & Lenita Ricapito to support medical oncology and cancer research that may one day help us find a cure by contributing to the Closer to Free Fund, which jointly supports the Yale Cancer Center and Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven, P.O.
