Amkhone Chanthavongsa

Amkhone “Amy” Chanthavongsa of Endicott, NY, was surrounded by family as she passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of January 4, 2020 at the age of 76.
She is predeceased by her parents, Phet and Bouakham Khouphongsy; brothers: Oudarone Phetphongsy, Phouthone Phetphongsy, Daovone Phetphongsy.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Khamhune Chanthavongsa; three sons: Phetsakhone, Phouthasone, Akhasone; daughter-in-laws; Amy and Elaine; grandsons: Miles and Ethan; brothers and sisters: Lammone, Khamsone, Thavone, Souksakhone, Phonekham; nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Amkhone retired from IBM Corp, Endicott, NY. She enjoyed traveling the world and being surrounded by family and friends. She had candid stories that made us cry and laugh. Her laugh was an infectious one that warmed our homes and hearts.
Family and friends are invited for services on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 12:30 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott.
