Anice Ellis

Anice Blanche Ellis (Dumbleton), 87, of Vestal, passed away peacefully at home, August 8, 2017, surrounded with the love of her family, Tuesday. She was a gentle soul with a joyful spirit. Her heart light shone so brightly and she was loved by many. She never missed an opportunity to party, tell a joke or dance. Anice was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Donald Bruce Ellis. She is survived by her children, Jamie (Marty) Mash, Laurie Ellis, Bruce Ellis, Tracy (Greg) Jarrold, her grandchildren Nicole, Erica, Shawn, Dylan, Blaine, her three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She had many life-long groups of friends who shared her high spirits and special neighbors who always helped her. Anice was a teacher in the Vestal School District. Our mom lived a life of honor, kind words and without prejudices. Please toast to our mom for a life well lived.
