Annie M. Bonventre, 90, of Endicott, was welcomed into heaven with open arms on February 7, 2016. ­­Born December 18, 1925, Annie recently celebrated her 90th Birthday surrounded by her family and friends. She was always the life of the party and her 90th Birthday celebration was no different. One could feel the happiness she held in her heart that day. Annie ‘s spirit was so beautiful and lively. This joy, along with the countless memories, will comfort us and always bring a smile to our faces. Annie was predeceased by her loving husband Gasper, parents Josephand Dorotea Bongiorno, brother Jasper Bongiorno, sisters Angie Sorrentino, Petrina Matterell and Sarah Rossi. Sister-in-laws, Rita Bongiorno, Joanne Bongiorno and Katie Bongiorno. Brother-in-laws, Gasper Sorrentino and Dominick Rossi. Annie’s family brought her the greatest joy. She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-laws, Donna and Michael Malarkey Jr., Dorothy and Richard Malarkey Sr. Grandchildren, Felicia and Jose Moreira, Rick and Jessica Malarkey and Melissa Malarkey. Five Great-grandchildren, Paolo Malarkey, Isadora, Liliana and Jose III Moreira and Lucas Malarkey. Brother, Salvatore Bongiorno and brother and sister-in-law Tony and Joan Bongiorno. Also, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Annie retired after working 45 years at Endicott-Johnson Corporation. She was an extremely hard worker, both at EJ and at home. She took pride in her always immaculate home, wonderful baking and of course her adoring family. Annie loved getting together with family and friends, playing cards and getting visits at her home. Annie was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Endicott, NY. She is a former member of the Sons of Italy Lodge in Binghamton, NY. Annie’s presence will be missed immensely, but the memories we’ve made will always be treasured.We are forever better for having been blessed by her love.

Funeral Services will be held Friday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Burial will b e in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Thursday from 4-7 pm.
