Athalia Dalton

Athalia Dalton, 82, of Endwell died at Vestal Park Nursing Home at Willow Point Thursday, May 14, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents Anastasia and George Thompson and her brother Ernest Thompson. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years Keil E. Dalton, Endwell; son and daughter in law Bryan and Patricia Dalton, Endicott; daughter and son in law Karen and Raymond Nasoni, Syracuse, NY; four grandchildren Carmella, Kevin, Patrick and Joseph. She was a graduate of Albany State Teachers College and taught at the Union-Endicott School District. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed ballroom dancing and playing Bridge. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. We will dearly miss her laughter and smile, her fabulous cooking and her rhubarb pie.
Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Athalia’s memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, New York 13970.
