Barbara June Cardillo

Barbara June Cardillo, 83, of Endicott, New York passed away peacefully on January 7, 2023. She is predeceased by her parents, Ruth (Fish) and Fred Bosley. She is survived by her sons Rick Otis of Endwell, New York and Jerry (Gloria) Otis of Indian Trail, North Carolina; grandchildren Tony Otis and Mitchell (Cierra) Otis, and Alison and Alana Otis; great-grandson Dawson Otis; sister Jean (Mike) Doukas; and her special niece Terri (Blake) Ward of Kernersville, North Carolina and nephews Rob (Mary) Byrum of Chenango Forks, NY and Justin (Marlee) Buckberry of Wallburg, North Carolina and extended family. Barb was a manager of grocery stores before becoming manager of the X-Ray Department at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, New York. Later, she retired from Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, and then moved back to her hometown of Endicott. Throughout her life, she enjoyed bowling, golf, and playing bingo. Spending time with her grandchildren brought her great joy. Barb’s friends and neighbors at the Graydon Apartments describe her as a “Spark”, and they will truly miss “porch time” with her.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 12 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the Allen Memorial Home from 11 am until Service time at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Salvation Army or the American Heart Association.
