Barbara “Babs” Heierman

Barbara Heierman (Petko), Age 73, of Endwell, passed away peacefully in her home on August 1, 2022 after a long-fought battle with Huntington’s Disease. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Philip; her sister, Ann Miner (Charlie Taylor); brother, John (Mary) Petko; her sons, Chris Heierman and Sean (Amanda) Heierman; daughter, Jena (Mike) Murphy; 8 grandchildren: Claudia, Raegan, Carter, Lillian, Nash, Camryn, Kevin and Morgan; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and special cousin, JoAnne Fitchpatrick.

Barb (“Babs”) was a quiet but kind person. She enjoyed many things in life but what she loved most of all was caring for her kids and grandkids.
The family will receive friends for calling hours at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 10 am until Mass time at 11 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery immediately following.
