Barbara Lewis

Barbara E. Lewis, 94 years young, of Binghamton, passed away on June 6, 2018 at UHS Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Arland Lewis; her parents, John and Rose Considine; brothers, Bernard, Jerry, John and Mike Considine; sisters, Ellen Page, Rose Cucci and Kathy Kosick. She is survived by her brothers, Paul Considine (Martha) of Fort Walton Beach Florida and Edward Considine of Binghamton, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She worked for E.J. and several restaurants in the area. Barbara enjoyed her large family, always interested in their pursuits and those of their children. She enjoyed golf, bowling and gardening at her Conklin home. She was a lifelong Yankees fan. In retirement she was a resident of Metro Plaza Apartments where she formed many friendships and served as treasurer and president. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her tireless energy and zest for life. Special thanks to Eleanor Willie for her kindness and care and the staff of Wilson Memorial Hospital.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 9:30 am, Thursday, June 14th St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 37 Fayette Street, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at Church Thursday from 8:30 am until Mass time at 9:30 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City at the convenience of the family.
