Barbara Staudt

Barbara Staudt, 96, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Willow Point Nursing Home, Vestal. She was predeceased by her husband, Rudolf Staudt, two sons, Alfred and Robert Staudt, and two brothers, Norbert and Karl Wokan. She is survived by one son and daughter in law, Werner and Flavia Staudt, Plattsburgh, NY, one daughter in law, Mary Staudt, Johnson City, six grandchildren; Michael, Ronald and David Staudt, Heather MacDonald, Jason Staudt and Sonia. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, a sister in law, Eva Wokan, Binghamton, and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Barbara’s neighbors in Vestal for their constant love and support, as well as the staff of Willow Point Nursing Home for their loving care and concern. Barbara was retired from Vestal High School. She was a member of Broome West Senior Center and The German Club of Binghamton.

Funeral and Interment services will be held Sunday at 3 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 1 pm until service time at 3 pm. Expressions of sympathy in Barbara’s memory may be made to a favorite charity of one’s choice.
