Barry A. Nagle, 77 of Binghamton passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack Sr. and Mable Nagle, and his sister Nancy J. Nagle. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Laurie Nagle; two children and their spouses, Nancy and David Hujar, Matthew and Christine Nagle; four granddaughters Marissa and Megan Subik, Ella and Abigail McNeal. two grandsons, Mason and Ethan Nagle; brother and sister-in-law Jack Jr and Marilyn Nagle; also, nephews Mark and Scott Nagle, niece and spouse Michelle and Seth Allen-Nagle and cousins as well as countless friends including special friends, Danny Terpak, and golfing partner John Meno. He was retired from IBM and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He then devoted 24 years to Ideal Senior Living Center attending to the needs of their residents. His loves in life were spoiling his wife, grandchildren and his furry companion Cindy. Spending time with his family vacationing in OCMD or sipping wine, lakeside in The Fingerlakes, cheering on the NY Giants. He will be remembered as an avid bowler, in 2021 he became a member of the USBA 300 Club for his perfect game, earning his ring. If he wasn’t on the golf course with John, he would be bird watching in his backyard.
Friends and family may call at the Allen Memorial Funeral Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Friday from 3 pm until 5 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barry’s memory can be made to The Broome County Humane Society.
