Betsy J. Giannicchi, 57, of Endwell, passed away peacefully at home after a brief courageous battle with cancer with her loving family by herside,Thursday August 4, 2016. Predeceased by her parents Robert and BettySteiner;a sister Barbara Yeager. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years Michael J.Giannicchi;three daughters Nicole (Jaime) Johnson; Kelly (Jason) Goodspeed and KariStoeckel; twelve grandchildrenEthen, Dillon, Casey, Noah,Skyler, Rocco, Eva, Brooklyn, Thor, Hailie, Dayton and Anna, one great grandchild Anastasia; a brother and sister in law Robert and Mary EllenSteiner;several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends Karen and ToddMarthensand Sheila Loftus. She was aformeremployeefor over 30 years of Sheltered Workshop for the disabled and for five years of Southern TierIndependenceCenter (STIC) .Betsy enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time with her dog Molly, watching the Yankees but, most of all, she enjoyed her home, husband, children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services for Betsy will be heldWednesday 10 amat the Allen Memorial Home,511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Pastor Esther Terry of Calvary’s Love Church, Johnson City, officiating. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home,Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
