Carol Rogers

Carol Ann Rogers from Owego died, Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the age of 62 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is predeceased by her parents Herbert L. and Antoinette P. Rogers.
She is survived by her loving sister, roommate and friend Lynn Rogers and loving sister Debra Farthing (Tim Burke) and loving brother Herbert (Kathy) Rogers Jr., Also two nephews Bill (Patty) Farthing and Matt Rogers (Megan) and one niece Krista Farthing. Also, one very loving great niece Sally Farthing. She was loved dearly by all who knew her. Carol never had any enemies and would never say a bad word about anyone.
Carol attended Syracuse University and Queens University where she earned her Masters Degree in Paper Science Engineering. After college she became an engineer in Portsmith Virginia. Then moved to North Carolina where she continued engineering until switching careers to help people by owning her own health care business called Comfort Keepers. She returned home to be with family again and worked in payroll at Maines Corp. Kirkwood.
Carol’s favorite pastimes were swim aerobics, exercise at YMCA. She also loved playing pitch on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings with her sisters and friends and of course gambling at the casino with her sister. She also vacationed a lot with the family.
Carol will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers Carol requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer.
The family welcomes friends at Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Wednesday October 12, 2022, 10:00AM followed by an 11:00AM memorial service.
