Caroline “Nanny” Coffey

Caroline L. (Nanny) Coffey, 94, of Vestal, NY, passed away at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, NY on October 9, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband, Rodney Wilson; mother, Mabel Lott; father, Fred Lott; sister, Ida May; brother, Fred Lott Jr.; brother, Winsor Lott. She is survived by 3 children, Deborah (James) Minnow, Robert Wilson and Cheryl, Diane (Mark) Hall; 5 grandchildren, Tiffany (Nick) Barber, Jennifer (Andy) Swann, Andrew Mangini, Robert (Addy) Wilson and Emile Kashou; 6 great-grandchildren, Madisyn Barber, Ethan Barber, Noah Barber, Robert Wilson, Zoe Swann and Scarlett Wilson. Caroline worked as a bookkeeper at Philadelphia Sales in Endicott and truly loved her job and the many friends she developed throughout the years. She belonged to a ladies club with her lifelong friends and enjoyed luncheons and monthly activities. Caroline had a great love for her children and grandchildren and she especially enjoyed her sleep overs with her great-granddaughter, Maddie, and their late night chocolate excursions. Anyone who knew her was touched by her fun loving personality and generosity. We will always think of her when watching a spooky movie, Andy Griffith and eating chocolates. Rest in peace our sweet soul and best friend.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 11 am at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday at the Allen Memorial Home from 10 am until service time at 11 am.
