Charles “Charlie” Degregorio

Charlie DeGregorio, 93, formerly of Vestal passed away Thursday evening May 9, 2024 at
Oxford Veterans Home. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years
Jennie DeGregorio. Also three children Roseanne DeGregorio, Endicott, Chuck and Suzanne DeGregorio, Binghamton and Michael and Maria DeGregorio California.
Also 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Charlie was a proud member of the Army and served in the Korean War where he survived 5 major battles, malaria and a broken wrist and rose to the rank of master sergeant. He worked at IBM Endicott as a mechanical engineer for 25 years.
He was an avid golfer, a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and the Knights of Columbus where he organized numerous golf tournaments and fund raisers. He loved to Barbeque and make his Sicilian pizza and he was a huge fan of the New York Yankees. He had a quirky sense of humor that made you an instant friend.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
