Cheryl Ann Kratochvil

Cheryl Kratochvil, 69, of West Corners, NY, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with an extended illness. She was the beloved daughter of John and the late Elizabeth “Betty” Kratochvil, and is also survived by her brother, Michael (Deb), along with several cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A proud graduate of Union-Endicott High School, Cheryl was deeply dedicated to her family and community. She worked for many years at the New York State Insurance Fund and for Harkness Commercial Realty, known for her meticulous attention to detail and loyalty. Cheryl also served as treasurer of the West Corners Fire District for over 20 years, a role she held with great pride. Cheryl had a heart of gold and was known for her kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. She shared a special bond with her nieces and nephews, Nicolette, Zachary, and Michenzy, whom she adored and loved to spoil. Family was at the heart of her life, and her warmth and selflessness touched all who knew her. A celebration of Cheryl's life will be held on 3/29 at 1PM at West Corners Fire District Station No. 1 in Endicott, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Mercy House of the Southern Tier. Rest in peace, Cheryl. You are reunited with your mother, and your memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
