Colin M. Barr took his final ride home Saturday, August 6, 2016. He was born in Binghamton, NY on April 29, 1983. He was a graduate of Chenango Valley High School. He was a member of Laborers Local 785. Colin’s passion was riding four wheelers and he loved hanging with family and friends. His daughter was the love of his life. He was predeceased by his great grandmother, Jennie Hodel; his grandfather, William G. Bednar and his uncle, William R. Bednar. He was the devoted son of Tracy and James Dunnier. He is survived by his daughter, Kiara Barr; three sisters, Samantha Schultz, Ashley Porter and Krystle Schultz; grandparents, Mary and Merwyn Jones; step-grandparents, Barbara and Arthur Dunnier; a nephew, Qwintin Kelley; two nieces, BellaDonna Weishar and Caterina Weishar; step-father, Jeffrey Schultz and biological father, Paul Barr. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles many cousins and numerous great friends. Family was everything to him. If you were a friend of Colin’s he considered you his family.
The family will receive loving condolences Thursday, August 11th from 5-7 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 12th at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home with a procession to Mass at St. Ambrose Church at 10 am. After Mass we will lead Colin to his final resting place at Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. A luncheon will immediately follow at My Uncle’s Place, 120 East Service Road, Binghamton. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a fund for his daughter. Those wishing to do so can make donations in Colin’s memory to: Kiara J.
