Concetta “Connie” Cali

Concetta (Connie) A Cali, 98, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2021. She is survived by her devoted son and daughter-in-law, Philip Anthony and Carol Ann Cali, her wonderful grandchildren and their spouses, Philip Mark and Klara Cali and Dorian and Christopher Simmons, her precious great- grandchildren, Philip Thomas, Aneta, Alicia, and Francesca, and her loving nieces and nephews and their spouses and children. She was married for 74 years to her beloved husband, Philip Charles Cali, who passed away in 2016.
Connie lived a long and satisfying life from her childhood upbringing in New York City and her many, happy years in the Bronx and Long Island, to her most recent residency in Binghamton. After she retired from her many years as an employee of General Motors Overseas Operations, she enjoyed her retirement with friends and her favorite pastimes. When she moved to Binghamton, she became a regular attendee of the First Ward Senior Center and spent many an hour playing Texas Hold ‘Em with other Center members. She eagerly anticipated her monthly excursions to Tioga Downs. She spent her final years at Elderwood Senior Living and the family thanks the staff for its exemplary care.
