Crescenzo “Chris” Ferraccioli

Crescenzo (Chris) Ferraccioli, 77, of Endicott, passed away peacefullyThursday, March 24, 2016 at Willow Point Nursing Home after a 7 year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Chris was born on August 8, 1938 in Pofi, Italy, was a W.W.II survivor, and came to Endicott, NY in 1961. He ispredeceased by his parents, Antonino and Maria Ferraccioli; and his brother Aldo. He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Diane (Danek) Ferraccioli. Chris is also survived by 4 loving daughters, Gina (Colin) Sloan, Carla Ferraccioli, Lara Ferraccioli, and Christina (Jerret) Brown; hissix wonderful grandchildren, Jaiden and Aiyana Ferraccioli, Walker and Chloe Brown, and Dominic and Rylan Sloan, all of Endicott; and in-laws; Libra Ferraccioli, Endicott; Nedeem and JoAnne Kenien, Binghamton; and William and Jeanne Danek, Florida, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Chris started his crafted trade of Construction in America, working for Battaglini Bros, Picciano & Sons, and A J Cerasaro Inc. He was a lifelong member with Local Union #7, Mutual Aide Society, and the Sons of Italy.Chris truly enjoyed bocce ball, soccer, hunting, cooking, and working in his beloved garden. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. A special thank you to the staff at Willow Point Nursing Home, especially Robin, for taking care of her “Papa.”We will miss Chris and his stories, jokes and one liners that will keep us all laughing for years to come. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 1 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Father James Serowik officiating. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday from 11 am until service time at 1 pm.
