David Black of Endwell, NY, passed away quietly in his sleep this week. David lived in the Endwell area most of his life and was most currently dividing his time between Endwell and Sunset Harbor, NC. Dave was a founding member of the Southern Tier Skysurfers, a Harley rider, an avid golfer and member of Maple Hill golf club in Marathon, NY. He retired after 25 years at IBM and again from Lockheed Martin. He is survived by his two daughters, Darcia Black (Joseph) and Danielle Black-Melchior (August); his dear friend and life partner of more than 20 years, Kathy Washak; and his beloved dog, Rhiannon. Dave’s motto was “live and let live”. He was loved by many and will be truly missed by all.
Services will be held at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Monday, November 3rd, from 4-5:30 pm. Burial will be a private family event at Vestal Hills Cemetery.
