David “Dave” Haight

March 19, 1945 — July 30, 2013

David F. Haight, 68, of Endicott (originally) of Vestal passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family Tuesday July 30, 2013. He is survived by the love of his life for 44 years Anna Haight (Fettuccia), his three children and their spouses Jennifer (Gino) Roma; Jason (Michelle) Haight; and Emily (Ben) Witherspoon; eight wonderful grandchildren Peter, Johnny, and Abbey Roma; Amelia, and Alivia Haight, Gabriel, Levi, and Benny Witherspoon. Dave is also survived by his loving sister Joanie Crouse, his mother-in-law (Nonni) Amelia Fettuccia, and his brother-in-law Paul Fettuccia and his nephews Franco, and Nicholas Fettuccia. Dave worked for Time Warner for over 40 years, was an avid New York Yankee and Lazio fan, enjoyed coaching kids and Sunday dinner with his family. Dave had a new found love, winemaking which he truly enjoyed. He loved traveling to Italy with his soul mate and best friend Anna. Dave enjoyed watching all his children and grandchildren play sports especially his grandson Peter pitching for Clarkson University.
A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held Friday 6 pm at the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott with the Reverend Father Jim Serowick officiating. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday from 3 pm until service time at 6 pm. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
