David Robert Pittarelli, 33, formerly of Endicott. David was called home to the Lord on Thursday, April 30. David is predeceased by his grandmother Sally Ivory and Step-Father David R. Stevens. David is survived by his son, Kai David. His Mother, Shawn Ivory Stevens and fiancé, Daniel Barnett of Endicott. His Father and Mother, David A. and Jackie Pittarelli of Endicott. His Brother and Sister-In-Law, John and Alissa Pittarelli and their children Evan and Colin. Grandparents Mary and Cosmo Pittarelli of Conway, SC and Tomas Ivory of Endicott and his Aunts and Uncles: Tom Ivory(Mary), Tim Ivory(Patty), Tami Ivory(Al), Mary Pittarelli, Ellen Pittarelli, and Ricardo Pittarelli(Christi). His loving girlfriend Kristy Chamberlain of Kannapolis, NC as well as numerous cousins and close friends. David was a man of integrity, and along with bravery and an unwavering faith in God, he surmounted great adversity in his life. His proudest moment was the birth of his son, Kai David, to whom he instilled his values of faith, family, God and unconditional love. His heart was enormous and his personality had such gravity, you could not help but be affected by him, he made people better. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and never missed an opportunity to let anyone know it. One of his greatest pleasures was jet skiing on Cayuga Lake, up on Sandy Pond and most recently Lake Norman. David was a sportsman who loved to hunt and fish with his Father and Brother and he was unrivaled in the weight room. His beautiful smile, heart and light that shown bright within him will eternally bring happiness, peace and love to all who knew him. David was a Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend and this world is a better place for having had him in it. We keep him in our hearts until we see his beautiful smile again in heaven.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street and 10 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be at in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday from 4-7 pm. Expressions of sympathy in David’s memory may be made for the establishment of an educational fund for his son Kai, c/o John Pittarelli.
