David Pufky

d. January 30, 2018

On Tuesday 30 January, 2018, David John Pufky, 71, passed away peacefully at Health Central Florida Hospital. He was born in Johnson City, NY in 1946 to John and Mary Pufky (who sadly passed in 2000 and 2014), attended Johnson City High School, and joined the U.S. Marine Corps where his service of duty included two tours in Vietnam. David then followed in his father’s footsteps and went on to work for Pepsi Cola in Binghamton, NY as a dedicated salesman for 42 years. A job where at every stop along his route he made a new friend and his co-workers became family. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Karen, of Winter Garden, FL, with whom he shared 42 wonderful years of marriage and three beautiful children, John and Heather Pufky (Maine, NY), Jeremy and Amanda Pufky (Boston, MA), Jennifer and Matthew Bryant (Dartford, UK). David was blessed with several grandchildren who were the light of his life, Jaidyn, Avery, Elliot and Jude Pufky, Finn Pufky and James Bryant. He is survived by his loving sisters, Carol Stasko, of Princeton Junction, NJ; Janet (and Sam) Tornatore of Winter Garden, FL; a very special sister-in-law Gail (and Dan) Brennan of Conklin, NY; and his loving Aunt, Theresa Tokos, and many caring cousins, nieces and nephews.
