Dennis Andrus, 60, of Vestal, passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at his home in the early morning of December 13, 2013. He was predeceased by his sister Patty and his father LeRoy. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Paula, three daughters and two sons-in law, Alicia and Anthony Allen, Valerie Yates, and Angela and Brian Card, eighteen grandchildren, his mother, Katherine Andrus, two brothers, Richard (Debbie)Andrus and Leroy (Becca) Andrus, a sister, Lisa (Richard) Carey, and his best friend for over 50 years, Richard Bartlett as well as many extended family and friends. Dennis was active with the Endicott Performing Arts Center as a stagehand and in his church, Triumphant Life Church as a sound technician and altar minister. His favorite pastimes were watching British murder mysteries with his beloved Paula and riding his motorcycle with friends and especially son-in-law Tony. Dennis was a gentle soul, loved and admired by all who knew him for his kindness and crazy sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am at Triumphant Life Church, 1511 Davis Avenue, Endwell NY. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Monday from 1-3 and evening 6-8 pm.
