Dennis Mccormick

Dennis J. McCormick, passed away Sunday July 26, 2015. He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Mary McCormick, and his older brother Patrick. Dennis retired from a successful career in life insurance with Prudential and Allstate. He was an avid home remodeler. Dennis’ work ethic and ability to find a solution to any situation was an inspiration to those around him. He enjoyed working as a handyman for senior citizens in his retirement. He was a long time member of Christ Episcopal Church having served on the Vestry. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Marianne and his children; Paul Reichert, David and Kristi Reichert, Elizabeth Brucie, Patricia Reichert, Michael and Sonya Niekamp, and Matthew and Shannon McCormick along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren all of whom brought joy to his life. He was immensely grateful for all of his wonderful friends and family who were so supportive in his last months. The family would like to thank everyone at Cardiology Associates, especially Drs. DiMenna and Jamil for their wonderful care throughout the years along with Endwell Family Physicians especially Dr. Michael Federico and Broome Oncology , Dr. Y for their compassionate care in the last months.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 1 pm from Christ Episcopal Church, 10 Henry Street Binghamton, with Reverend Jim Jones officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 11 am until service time at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 10 Henry Street Binghamton, NY 13901.
