Dominick L. Liburdi, age 92, passed peacefully on Sunday March 23rd at Mercy House in Endicott NY surrounded by his loving family. It would take an encyclopedia sized collection of books to adequately articulate Dominick’s contagious-positive outlook and attitude. He had an undeniable impact on everyone around him as well as a truly kind soul and constant smile. Everyone also remembers him as an avid “tinkerer” who could literally build and repair anything. To all of us who have been blessed to know him, we will forever be thankful for all the positive energy, life lessons, and his inspirational outlook on life. Dominick was a shining star among us and will be deeply missed. Dominick was predeceased by his daughter Denise Liburdi; parents, Vincent and Maria Liburdi, brother Louis and wife Billie Liburdi and sister Ann Marie Liburdi; brother in laws Kal Barmada and Emerson Evans. Dominick is survived by his spouse Gina Liburdi, his sons Robert (wife Keri) and Daniel (wife Carla) Liburdi, his grandchildren Marisa Lorenzetti and David Liburdi, his sister Rosie Evans, his sister-in-law Anna Barmada, nieces and nephews. Dominick had a great 36-year career at IBM Owego. He was also a veteran where he proudly served in the United States Air Force.
