Donald was quiet and humble in nature, loved to give everyone a smile. Dad knew when to lead or let mom take charge on their many camping adventures and family gatherings. Dad and mom taught us all unconditional love. Donald valued education, completing degrees from Harpur College in physics and engineering and was part of the first graduating class to graduate on the Binghamton University campus. Donald was a Military Veteran and spent his career at IBM and General Electric. Donald volunteered at Christ the King Church, parish council and fish dinners. Donald was a lifetime member of the O.L. Davis Endwell Fire Company proudly serving with his sons. Donald was also an AARP volunteer leading a tax counseling site for several years. As we honor our father, to remember dad is to remember his smile, hand to his heart with a book nearby. Donald joins his wife Carol’s side as she serenades him, joining the choir of angels as they lead him home. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Bookdale staff and friends for their care and support in his final years.
