Don graduated from BCC with an accounting degree and he worked for the Broome County Food service as a storage clerk, and also volunteered at the Port Crane Fire Department for many years, which he loved. He enjoyed vacationing with his wife to Niagara Falls, Washington DC, Lake George, and Watkins Glen. He loved antiquing, and doing a lot of unnecessary treasure hunting at local flea markets, garage sales, thrifty shopper, and the dollar store.
Don had many hobbies and was great with computers. He loved fixing old radios, working on all things vintage and collecting Coca-Cola paraphernalia. He was a “Mr. Fix it” for all the members of his family. He was always willing to to offer a helping hand, with a smile. Don had a great sense of humor and was a real jokester, at work and with his friends and family.
He is beloved by all of us and he will be terribly missed, especially by his devoted wife and companion Therese.
