Donald “Don” Kollar

Donald W. Kollar 81 of Endicott, NY passed away peacefully due to Parkinson’s Disease, with his wife of 61 years and daughter by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Celia Kollar, brothers Paul and Ernie Kollar, In Laws Francis and Helen Shea, Brothers in Law, Tom Shea and Chris Zynda. He is survived by his wife Joan (Shea), daughter Kelli Pavlovich, grandsons whom he adored, Tyler and Dylan Pavlovich. Sisters in law Shannon Zynda and Julie Kollar, and nieces and nephews. And very dear friends Bob and Vinnie Murphy. He retired from IBM in 1991 to travel and Country Dance across the USA with his wife Joan.
A celebration of Don’s life will be held 11 am, Saturday July 21st at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at church Saturday from 10 am until Mass time at 11 am. Expressions of sympathy in his memory can be made to Mercy house or Lourdes Hospice.
