Donald Pullano

Donald V. Pullano, went home peacefully Friday, July 6th from Union Center, New York at the age of 81. He was predeceased by his parents Dominic and Agnes, brother Robert, sister Isabell, sister-in-law Evelyn, in-laws John and Victoria Noce. Don is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Ann Marie (Noce). Son Michael (Luanne) Pullano. Daughter M. Nicole (Jerry) Angelo. Beautiful grandchildren Ben Pullano, Bethany (Noah) Sibley, Michael Angelo. Adorable great grandchildren Nora and Bentley Sibley. Brother-in-law John (Donna) Noce. Aunts Fran Pullano and Sue Shannahan. Nephews Dale (Annmarie) Pullano, Chris (Ellen) Pullano, John (Theresa) Noce, William (Rachel) Noce. Adopted niece and nephew Vicky Diehl and Kurt Soulsby. And many great nieces and nephews. Don was born February 9, 1937 in Endicott New York. Graduated from Union-Endicott High School in 1955. Served in the United States Navy stationed at Quonset Rhode Island for 4 years with an honorable discharge in 1959. Serving aboard the aircraft carriers, Forstal, Saratoga, Roosevelt and the U.S.S. Intrepid. Attended Broome Community College. Retired from I.B.M. after 20 years. Was a freelance photographer doing many local weddings. Co-founder of Maine Endwell Music Booster club in the 1980’s. Enjoyed traveling with the band/marching band with his daughter Nicole. Enjoyed dirt biking with his son Michael. His passions were photography and boating on Cayuga Lake with company or alone. Rough water was never an enemy. He went out to conquer the waves. Loved traveling the Northeast Coast with his wife. He will be remembered and missed as our “What if?” in conversations. Don is a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Church. Special heart filled thank you to our dear neighbors of many years, Mary Braden, Marion Baily, Peggy Hirthler and Steve Snavely. The many doctors that gave care to him. The angels of Lourdes Hospice and their dear volunteers. Wonderful souls that have come in to our lives , Ken and Donna Chapman - Family Life Church, Pastor Bob - Hospice, Pastor David - Union Center Methodist Church, Father Serowik and Sister Anisia - St. Anthony of Padua Church.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to. Expressions of sympathy in Don’s name may be made to St. Anthony food pantry and Hospice.
