Donna A. Yesensky, 68 of Endicott, born November 20th, 1956, passed away peacefully at home Friday, January 31st, 2025 after a courageous fight with cancer.
Reunited with her parents Leonard and Freida Burkle, as well as her older brother David.
She was born in Syracuse, NY, and was the middle child of her late parents.
She leaves behind her younger sister Heidi, her brother in law Frank, and their son, her godson, Al. She also leaves behind her husband Gary Yesensky, granddaughter Gabriella, daughter, and four other grandchildren Rain, Chance, Michael Jr., and Octavia.
She was a member at St. Ambrose and a retired Wal-Mart cashier. She also worked part time at the Cider Mill before her diagnosis. If you knew her you know she had a very big love for Tweety Bird and I Love Lucy. Her other enjoyments in life were her grandkids, baking, sitting in the sun, and the occasional trip to the casino with her husband. She will be known not only for the love she had for her family, but the love she gave to everyone she could. Donna loved deeply and would do anything for anyone. She was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Special thanks to the hospice staff for their hard work and sympathy, especially Kris, Brenda, and Hannah, whom she adored.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 6, at St. Ambrose Church, 203 Washington Avenue, Endicott. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at church, Thursday, February 6, from 10 am until Mass time at 11 am.
