Dorothy Curtis

Dorothy S. Curtis, 88, of Endwell, passed away at Riverview Manor Health Care Center, Owego, after an extended illness. She is predeceased by her husband Wilber D. Curtis, daughter Maragret Spencer; son in law Phillip Spencer, brother John C. Stensland, sister Pauline (Tinque) Stensland; grandson Derek Curtis; granddaughter Jenelle Curtis. Dorothy is survived by her son Donald (Roxanne) Curtis, Sayre, PA; daughter Susan Stockwell, Endwell, NY; daughter Joann (Alan) Curtis, Morris, NY; son Richard (Linda) Curtis, Chittenango, NY; thirty two grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy was born in Oneonta, NY. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Endwell, Order of the Eastern Star, Round Hill Chapter #104, Endicott, Past Matron and Grand Warder in 1970. Dorothy enjoyed camping with family and many friends, enjoying nightly sing alongs around the campfire. She also enjoyed many different hand crafts.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday 10 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Reverend James Walck of Our Savior Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery in Gilbertsville, NY at 1 pm. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Wednesday from 4 to 6:30 pm.
