Dorothy M. Gasbarra, 83, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.She was predeceased by her brothers and a sister; Jack Wallisky, Marie Rozelle and Donald Wallisky. She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years William Gasbarra; three loving daughters and sons in law Barbara and Al Mazzei; Endicott, AnnMarie and Forrest Horvath, Endicott and Donna and Derek Ciancio, Endwell; three grandchildren Nicole and Analee Ciancio and Evan Horvath; also several nieces; nephews and cousins.Dorothy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Endicott and was retired from the Endicott-Johnson Corp. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 9:30 am from Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Friday evening from 5-7 pm.The family wishes to extend at special thanks to the staff of the Susquehanna Nursing Home.Expressions of sympathy in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the Humane Society, 2 Jackson Street, Binghamton, NY13903.
