On Thursday April 14, 2016 we lost a lovely lady. Dorothy left her loved ones, family and friends to move to the next level. Dorothy was born in 1922 in Endicott, NY to Anna and John Kotchick (deceased) and leaves only sibling Dr. John Kotchick and sister-in-law Irene, very dear to her were nieces Karen Kotchick Duffy, Kim Ann Kotchick Ayres and husband David and her nephew John Kotchick III Esq., great nieces Chloe and Claudia Kotchick and great nephews Zachary and Harrison Ayres all were very much a part of her life. Dorothy attended and graduated with high honors from the U.E. school system. At that time she was not financially able to continue on to higher education and joined local industry. For over four decades she was at I.B.M. where she was well known for her dedicated work ethic, an impeccable perfectionist who exhibited compassion, and concern for all those who may have worked for her or with her. As well as people Dorothy loved her pets Scotty dog “Mitzi” birds, and a number of cats, she enjoyed traveling, reading and occasionally preparing a gourmet meal for family or friends and decorating her lovely home. Dorothy will be gone but never forgotten “au revior”

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass conducted by Reverend Father John Kurgan at Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday 4-7 pm.
