Dr. Edward Segal

Dr. Edward Austin Segal, age 77 of Endwell, NY passed away peacefully at home on the morning of December 12th. Ed practiced optometry for 42 years in Endicott, first at his own practice and then at Twin Tiers Eye Care. He was the loving father of Daniel and Scott, father-in-law of Shana, and grandpa to Hannah and Kayla. Ed was married for 55 years to Linda Kassner Segal. He served honorably in the US Army, he was a former member of the Johnson City Lions Club, a past member of Temple Beth El in Endicott, and a proud member of the local Optometric Society. Ed was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Anyone who knew Ed was keenly aware of his endearing personality and wonderful sense of humor.
A private memorial service was held in his honor. Expressions of sympathy in Ed’s memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Research Society or the charity of one’s choice.
