Edmund Ogozaly

Edmund J. Ogozaly, 89, of Endicott, NY died peacefully at home on April 9, 2017. Edmund was a devoted husband and loving father. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family riding snowmobiles and motorcycles as well as touring the country. He enjoyed many long walks on the beach in Florida. He was an avid spectator of his kids’ and grandkids’ sporting events and loved gardening. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen Ogozaly; daughter Kathleen Bartlow and husband David and children; son Mark Ogozaly and wife Bernadette and children; son Wayne Ogozaly and wife Emily and children; son Chris Ogozaly and wife Kellie and children; brother Leo Ogozaly; and nephew Gary Strowsky. He served with distinction in the United States Navy and was a veteran of both WWII and the Korean War. Edmund was a Project Manager at IBM Endicott for than more than 27 years. He was a humble servant of the Lord, and served as a greeter and Deacon at First Assembly of God church in Binghamton NY. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Park Ave Dialysis Center and to Edmund’s home healthcare aides.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 10 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm.
