Edward Philip Sautro, 82 of Wake Forest, NC; formerly from Endicott, NY, joined his wife Theresa Rose Sautro on January 3, 2015 after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his mother Patricia DiBello, Brother Gabe Sautro, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Frank and Grace Materese, Joseph and Ann Materese, Fred and Fern Materese, Angelo and Louise Materese, Nellie and Jim Damato, Mary and Tommy Caforio, Amelia and Huey Guidrey and Ann and Rudy Paoletti. Edward is survived by his children Edward A. and Nicole Sautro of Wake Forest, NC and Paul and Jeanine Spicer of Mexico, NY, his grandchildren Kristen, Warren, Eddie, Michelle, Ashley, Alex, Daniel and Jordan, sister and brother-in-law Antoinette and Lino Mion of Surprise, AZ, also several nieces and nephews. After serving four years in the Air Force as a rank of Staff Sergeant, Ed was owner of E & T Catering Services of Endwell, NY for 35 years. During this time he touched many people’s lives through his love of cooking. Ed loved and adored his children and grandchildren until the end.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main St, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends as the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers; donations can be made in memory of Edward P Sautro to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607-6372 (919-828-0890), or online donations may be made at www.transitionslifecare.org.
