Ella Gillis

Ella R. Gillis, 88, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Ideal Senior Living Center, Endicott where she was a longtime resident. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Carrie Stone; four brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her son Joseph Hurley, Arlington, VA; former daughter in law Nancy Hurley, Alexandria, VA; three grandchildren Brian Hurley, Arlington, VA; Jack Hurley and his wife, Barbara Hurley, Alexandria, VA and Meghan Hurley, Arlington, VA. Ella was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal and was a retired I.B.M Corp employee.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 801 Main Street, Vestal at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
