Estelle V. Cole, 99, of Endwell, gently passed away at Willow Point Nursing Home on January 1, 2018 after a long and full life. She was reunited with her husband Larry of 64 years. She was also predeceased by her parents, Clarence Disbrow and Arinee Roe; sister, Yolanda Pacenza; brother, Albert Disbrow; daughter, Bonnie Welch; grandson, John Bikos, Jr. She was a loving and devoted mother to her daughters, Beverly Bikos (Sylvy) of Binghamton, NY, Barbara Clapper of Forest Lake, PA and Nancy (John) Beardsley of Newark Valley, NY. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She retired from IBM after 25 years of service. She was devoted to her family and was a friend to many. Her internal strength was shadowed by her quick wit. Without a thought she was always sensitive to others needs before her own and always showed unconditional love. She was a kind gentle soul, a true lady. We know she will rest peacefully with those who went before her and will ensure laughter for them for eternity. The family would like express a sincere thank you to the staff on South 3 at Willow Point Nursing Home and Dr. Ahmad for their compassionate and hard working care on Estelle. We couldn’t have gotten through it without all of you.
Funeral Services will be held Friday at 12 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Pastor Joe Wickman of New Life Ministries, Endicott, officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday from 11 am until service time at 12 pm.
