Ethel Lee (Hyatt) Harris of Endwell went to be with her Lord on February 17, 2021.
Loving wife of John; dearest mother of Vicki (Steven) Pritko and Lori (Richard) Geisler; grandmother of Andrew Pritko, Daniel Pritko, Nicholas Geisler, and Eric Geisler. She is also survived by brothers Frank (Ruth) Hyatt and John (June) Hyatt, sister Terri (David) Marshall, nieces, nephews, family members, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents Anita and Irvin Hyatt.
Born in Washington, D.C., Lee grew up in D.C. and Maryland. She attended Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, MD. She earned her associates degree in accounting from BCC later in life. She worked as a secretary, starting at the CIA and spending the rest of her career working as a legal secretary for several local law firms.
Lee was an active church member, choir member, and volunteer. She attended Broome West Senior Center and Johnson City Senior Center Bingo. She was a deeply caring, kind person and never met anyone that she didn’t call a friend.
A private service will be held at 11 am on February 27, 2021 at Endwell United Methodist Church (Zoom link available at http://www.endwellumc.org)
with entombment at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Mercy House or Endwell United Methodist Church.
