Eva (Glowa) Donaldson, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 10, 2013.She was the loving wife for 50 years of the late William James Donaldson of Endwell, NY.She was predeceased by her son, Gerald (Jerry), in 1980 and her infant son, Edward.Eva was the daughter of the late Anna (Kaczmar) Glowa and Michael Glowa of Endicott, and was predeceased by nine siblings. Eva is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Joan Donaldson, Broomfield, Colorado and her two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Ron Santilli, Acton, Massachusetts, Moira and Mark Motyka, Hopkinton, MA. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; Kelly, Sean, and Evan Donaldson, Alexandra and Devin Santilli, and Shannon and Tommy Motyka.She was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Eva was born in Ludlow, PA before she moved to Endicott as a child with her family. She graduated from Union-Endicott high school in 1944, and was a retired employee of IBM. Eva raised her family in Endwell, NY and created treasured memories there and at their cottage on Page Lake in New Milford, PA. Eva was a devoted mother and grandmother who traveled to Massachusetts, Colorado, and Florida to spend time with her children and grandchildren celebrating and sharing many milestones and special moments. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Johnson City. She will be missed dearly.Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 9:15 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott and 10 am from All Saints Episcopal Church, 475 Main Street, Johnson City, with the Reverend Christine Day, Pastor of her church officiating. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Monday from 5-8 pm. Expressions of sympathy in Eva’s memory may be made to the Cardiac Arrhythmia Service/Center for Advanced Heart Disease at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, 116 Huntington Ave 5th Floor, Boston MA 02116,http://giving.brighamandwomens.org/tributes The family thanks the staff and doctors for their exceptional care of Eva during recent years.
